John Meyer

Managing Principal, Founder

John Meyer is the Managing Principal and founder of JMA Incorporated.  John’s functional background centered on electronic banking through the mid-80’s and 90’s.  JMA's first client was First Data Corporation, the largest payment processor in the world. John directed the expansion of the JMA client base into facilitating mergers and acquisition initiatives for Wells Fargo Bank. Under John's helm, JMA has thrived through attracting and motivating talent.

Prior to JMA, John establishing himself as an independent contractor while supplying a range of services for banks and telephone companies - leveraging over ten years of specialized project and operational experience.

Before going independent, John was Regional Director/Vice President for Bank of America's ATM services network. While working his way up the ranks at Bank of America through the 80's and early 90's, John held several senior posts while running operating and data centers for Electronic Banking, Merchant Processing and Bank Card Operations.

Ed Byrne

Business Development

Ed offers clients over 20 years experience as a business development and client relationship management executive with leading merchant bank and payment processing providers.  Ed has offered management direction to companies which serve small, mid-size and Fortune 500 merchants.  Ed has an enviable record of sales team leadership, client retention, and sales growth.

Prior to joining JMA Pro, Ed served as VP of Strategic development for Royal Bank of Scotland, responsible for strategy development for US and Canadian e-merchants, starting their domestic telemarketing program, establishing partner and vendor relationship management.  Before that, as Group Executive – New Business Development for Paymentech, Ed established the national field sales group focused on ecommerce merchants.  Ed served as VP of Sales for Direct Marketing Guaranty Trust, growing business by 250% over a 5-year period.  Ed’s entry into payments started at Telecheck, where he lead sales and client service in the New England region.

Ed completed Kellogg Graduate School of Management’s Global Marketing Program and holds a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Mark Seibert, PMP

Senior Consultant, JMA Marketing Officer

Mark offers clients over 10 years of financial services industry experience with leading financial services companies providing retail, agent, merchant and commercial banking, with an additional 15 years in the high technology and consumer products industries, and government.  He offers clients management and hands-on direction in product, marketing, operations, and project management.  Mark is a project management professional and holds an MBA from St. Mary’s College.

As a JMA consultant, Mark helped Wells Fargo Consumer Credit market and launch My Spending Report, performed marketing operations for Wells Fargo’s Merchant Services, and wrote PCI-compliant business polices for Blackhawk Network.

Before joining JMA, Mark served as VP of member implementation and director of smart card products Visa USA.   Mark managed the development of Charles Schwab’s first commercial loan product and rewrote the servicing procedures for Schwab Bank’s consumer products.  Mark established the Project Management Office and QA functions for ELM Resources. Mark held IT positions at Sybase, Clorox and Integral Systems, and served as a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.

Brian Bolz

Sr Consultant, Application Development Management

Brian offers over eight years of general management and application development experience for organizations including Bank of America, Glaxo Smith Kline, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, and General Mills.  Brian brings a pragmatic approach to helping his clients with proven techniques to rapid application development and leadership of development teams.

Prior to JMA, Brian was General Manager of MarketTools Inc’s India operations, where he built the organization to $20 million dollar, 150 person organization.  Before his assignment in India, he led MarketTool’s 100-person US-based application development and technical services teams, served as program manager and lead software engineer.  Brain software engineering positions at iMind and Artizen after his graduation from Stanford University with a BA in Economics.

Alok Jain

Sr Consultant, User Experience and Interactive Designer

Alok brings over 12 years of passion and expertise as a senior interaction designer.  Alok is a strategic thinker with hands-on tactical experience.  He past financial services clients include The World Bank, BNP Paribas, NYSE, Citi Group, Merrill Lynch and a host of non-financial companies.  Alok offers his clients innovation and leadership that has been recognized and rewarded by organizations including The World Bank’s International Disability Conference, as Pioneer of the Year by Satyam and a certification in Usability Analysis by Human Factors, Inc.

Prior to JMA, Alok served as User Experience Lead and for Computech, Sr. Interactive Director for Satyam Computers, Sr. Web Developer for Open Technologies, Media Associate for NIIT Technologies.
